Cook Well, Eat Well

A healthy eating campaign that worked with communities to cut down on salt and fat, but never flavour.

Project Description
Residents told us that healthy eating advice always assumed a very western idea of what a meal looks like. Cook Well, Eat Well started from a different place: working with community women’s groups and nutritionists to make small, healthy adjustments to the dishes people already cook and love. The result was a recipe booklet and a series of cook along workshops, celebrating the food cultures of Tower Hamlets rather than asking people to replace them.
