3D Models

What happens when an illustrator discovers an extra dimension…

Project Description
After dabbling with real life sculpting and resin casting, I taught myself 3D modelling digitally. A lot less messy, but just as satisfying. My favourite part of the process is translating flat illustrations into three-dimensional objects, working out how form, light and texture change the character of something you thought you already knew how to draw.

I favour a clean, minimal style that feels modern while keeping the boldness of my vector work. As well as my own original characters, I have been commissioned to mock up toy prototypes and prepare models for 3D printing.
